A High Quality 250w Coralvue Electronic Ballast. The Electronic Ballast is an all important latest technology energy saving unit designed to start and run a discharge lamp and stabilise the electrical operating current. Electronic Ballasts run almost silent with considerably less heat generated compared with traditional magnetic ballasts.

Compared with magnetic ballasts this Electronic Ballast can reduce the current by at least 60% and can save energy by up to 30%. If the voltage of the electrical supply current changes by - 25% to + 15% the output wattage is unchanged and the lamp will continue to work with no interuption.

The luminescence of the lamp is steady which prolongs ballast and lamp life and is ideally suited for use with high kelvin rating lamps as used within the marine industry. Supplied with 2 year warranty from date of purchase for any mechanical or electrical failure from normal wear and tear. Weight 3.00 Kgs.
